Mark E. Clement, OD

DR Clement completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Slippery Rock University and was awarded the degree Doctor of Optometry following four years at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

While at PCO, he was both President of his class (1995-1997) and a Vice President of the Gold Key Optometric Leadership Society in 1997 and 1998.

In 2000, DR Clement began practicing in Downtown Pittsburgh. In 2001, the new, state of the art facility was opened on the first floor of Gateway Center to provide the highest quality care and convenience to patients.

DR Clement lives in the North Hills with his wife Elizabeth and their son Lukas Patrick Harry and daughter Laura Margaret Jo.

Myhanh C. Dang, OD

DR Dang completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Washington and Jefferson College and was awarded the degree Doctor of Optometry following four years at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

In 2000, DR Dang began practicing in Downtown Pittsburgh as well as providing care to residents of local nursing homes. In 2001, the new, state of the art facility was opened on the first floor of Gateway Center to provide the highest quality care and convenience to patients.

DR Dang lives with her husband Brian in Murrysville. The couple had their first child, a boy, in June: Dylan Tai. They also have their hands full with a new British Bulldog puppy.

Leah N. Steele, OD

Dr. Steele completed her undergraduate studies in Physics and Mathematics at John Carroll University in Cleveland and was awarded with the degree of Doctor of Optometry in June 2011 by The Ohio State University College of Optometry. 

Mr. Richard Hatcher

Richard has been a part of the Gateway Eye Associates team now for 3 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hampton University of Virginia in 2007. During his senior year Richard began pursuing his dream of becoming an Optometrist by working at an Optometrist's office in Hampton, VA. Richard returned home to Pittsburgh after graduation and began using his optician skills in our Optical department. In 2008 Richard completed training to be an ophthalmic technician and assists our doctors in providing the highest level of eye health care available.

Away from Gateway Eye Associates you can always find Richard with his family and friends. Richard enjoys playing sports with his nephews, vacationing with his brother, or simply spending time with his aunt and uncle.

Ms. Kimberly O'Malley

Kim has been with Gateway Eye Associates as our ophthalmic assistant and contact lens technician for over 7 years after over 7 years of previous experience as a receptionist and ophthalmic assistant.

When Kim isn't here at Gateway Eye you can find her enjoying her nieces and nephew as well as her cat "Khloe".

Ms. Autumn Magiske

Autumn joined the team at Gateway Eye Associates in March of 2010 as Patient Care Coordinator. She works to complement our high quality eye care by working to ensure that all patients find their experiences to be efficient, informative and enjoyable. Autumn is available to assist you with all of your scheduling needs and billing inquiries.

Autumn goes home to a lively household consisting of her boyfriend Anthony, dog "Sunny", and two cats "Chewy" and "Kitty". She greets all of life's adventures with enthusiasm and holds friends and family dear to her heart.

Mrs. Becky Heffner

Becky began at Gateway Eye Associates in December 2008 as Patient Care Coordinator. Her extensive experience in both public relations and healthcare services have allowed Becky to advance to her current position as Wellness Coordinator and Head of Administration. Becky truly enjoys working with people and is your contact for all community outreach programs as well as all of your billing and insurance questions.

Outside of Gateway Eye Becky spends time volunteering in her community, scrapbooking, and watching movies. She is a devoted wife and mother of three beautiful children: Aaron Daniel was born 11/24/09.
